Band Camp
2016 Pre-Camp: Monday–Thursday, July 18–21
2016 Band Camp: Sunday–Saturday, July 24–30
Band camp is held at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant. All students in the Grandville High School Marching Band must attend. Pre-camp is held at the high school the week before band camp. See the Charms calendar for details such as report times for pre-camp. Please put these important dates on your home calendar.
Students have three practice sessions per day at camp, varying between music sectionals, drill, and full band rehearsal. Students rehearse on the field directly behind Finch Fieldhouse (pit rehearses inside the fieldhouse) on Franklin Street. At the end of the week on Saturday, the students perform their show at Kelly Shorts Stadium.
